Grateful Dead - Wake of the Flood Sessions

In August 1973 the Grateful Dead moved into Record Plant Sausalito to cut the first album on their own label. Dan Healy engineered, with Tom Flye on staff. Fifty years later the full session tapes went public, more than six hours of false starts, studio talk, and takes of Row Jimmy and Stella Blue before the band settled them. The studio job card is the stranger document. Reels dated August 6 and 7 carry U.S. Blues and Loose Lucy, both From the Mars Hotel songs, ten months before that album was recorded. Another reel, from August 4, is labeled only as three of Phil's songs. What is on it has not been established, and the released tapes are sequenced to the same tape box, so the answer may be sitting in the audio.
