Les Dudek

He'd co-written "Jessica" and played on "Ramblin' Man," but Les Dudek hadn't yet released anything under his own name when he brought his band Polar Bear to the Record Plant on November 10, 1974. His Columbia solo debut was still two years off. The lineup, Dudek on guitar and vocals, Gerald Johnson on bass, Joachim Young on keyboards, Bill Meeker on drums, shared the broadcast night with Pablo Cruise. The set was later issued on CD by Rox Vox with a full-color booklet, a rare official release for a Record Plant broadcast this obscure.
