Excitable Boy had just been released, and "Werewolves of London" was already on the radio when Warren Zevon played the Record Plant on July 27, 1978, simulcast on both KSAN in San Francisco and KMET in Los Angeles. It's the latest-dated broadcast in the entire KSAN Record Plant series, extending the documented run well past its mid-1970s peak. The twelve-song set includes "Werewolves of London," "Lawyers, Guns and Money," and "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner," with Waddy Wachtel on lead guitar.
