Elvin Bishop

Mickey Thomas was on vocals, a year before "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" would reach number three and make him famous; he'd go on to front Jefferson Starship. Bishop's band played the Record Plant on March 26, 1975, the third consecutive day at the studio following Peter Frampton and Suzi Quatro. The lineup, Bishop on guitar and vocals, Johnny Vernazza on guitar, Bill Slais on keyboards, Fly Brooks on bass, Donny Baldwin on drums, catches the band on the direct road to their breakout hit.
