Joe Satriani — Crystal Planet (1997)
1997 · Record Plant Sausalito
Crystal Planet was made mostly at The Plant, Joe Satriani's regular studio in these years. Mike Fraser produced and mixed, with Stuart Hamm on bass and Jeff Campitelli on drums. Some parts came from other Bay Area rooms, including Fantasy and Hyde Street. Epic released it on March 3, 1998, and AllMusic rated it his strongest instrumental record since Surfing with the Alien.
