Mark Eitzel — KFOG live broadcast from the Record Plant, Sausalito, May 5, 1997. Existing KFOG commercial-release liner documentation identifies the Plant venue and exact date. The 1997 Warner Bros. promotional 7-inch Soil X Samples 25 (PRO-S-9058) independently identifies two performances recorded live at KFOG: “Mission Rock Resort” (4:44) and “Fresh Screwdriver” (4:26). A long-running Mark Eitzel/American Music Club touring chronology also lists May 5, 1997 at the Record Plant, Sausalito, with the Magnificent 7, broadcast by KFOG. A collector list labels an Eitzel/Peter Buck KFOG recording June 6, 1997, but no primary evidence corroborating that alternate date was located; the May 5 date remains the best-supported date. No defensibly identified playable copy was found on YouTube or Internet Archive as of August 16, 2026, so Recording URL and Recording URL2 remain blank and Rock Box remains unchecked.
