Mariah Carey

Two of the best-known songs on Music Box were recorded partly in Sausalito. Session notes place "Hero" and the title track at The Plant and at the Record Plant in Los Angeles, with vocals and mixing at Right Track in New York. "Hero" and "Dreamlover" both went to number one in the US, and the album sold more than ten million copies there. Columbia released it on August 31, 1993.
