Mariah Carey

Five tracks on Emotions, Mariah Carey's second album, list The Plant in Sausalito among their recording locations. The other rooms were Skywalker Sound in Marin County and Right Track in New York. Narada Michael Walden, a Bay Area producer who used The Plant often, produced part of the album, and Walter Afanasieff worked on it too. The title single went to number one in the US. Columbia released the album on September 17, 1991.
