Historical significance: Andrew Wood died of a heroin overdose March 19, 1990, eight days before the album's release — making this his final recorded work. Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament went on to found Pearl Jam. Soundgarden's Chris Cornell wrote the Temple of the Dog album as a tribute.
