Steve Earle & The Dukes

Steve Earle and the Dukes arrived at The Plant for KFOG on August 5, 1996, during the period of I Feel Alright. John Grappone hosted the live broadcast, which survives through an Internet Archive recording. The setlist combines “Feel Alright,” “Hard-Core Troubadour,” “More Than I Can Do,” “South Nashville Blues,” “Ellis Unit One,” “The Devil’s Right Hand,” and “Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way,” with material from across Earle’s catalogue. No commercial release of this specific broadcast has been identified. The circulating archive recording therefore remains the direct record of the session and its KFOG presentation.
