Suzanne Vega

Suzanne Vega’s September 20, 1996 KFOG session at The Plant coincided with the release month of Nine Objects of Desire and an in-store appearance in San Francisco that same day. Annalisa hosted the in-studio concert for KFOG 104.5 FM. The session survives at Internet Archive and is also represented by track 13 on KFOG’s Live From the Archives 4, corroborating the date and Sausalito location. Those sources place Vega’s record within the station’s archival series rather than as a stand-alone album. What remains is the KFOG performance from a specific release-cycle stop in the Bay Area. The preserved session places a contemporaneous Vega performance alongside the compilation’s single-track evidence.
