DATE PRECISION: YEAR ONLY (1985). CENSUS 2026-06-04: VERIFIED — 'Knee Deep in the Hoopla' (1985) recorded at Record Plant Sausalito. Platinum certification. Label: Grunt/RCA. HISTORICAL CONTEXT: Sessions coincided with the 1985 federal seizure of the studio; Heart, Journey, Starship, and Huey Lewis were all working at the Plant when agents arrived. Arne Frager anecdote: when he came to introduce himself, Starship's manager 'blocked the door and said "hey, you can't come in here," and locked the door in front of me.'
