Whitney Houston — Whitney (1987)
1987 · Record Plant Sausalito
The credits for "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" list The Plant in Sausalito among its recording locations. So do the credits for "Didn't We Almost Have It All." Both singles reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was tracked between September 1986 and March 1987 across Tarpan in San Rafael, two New York studios, and 2200 Bridgeway. The Plant was a contributing room, not the main studio.
